Athabaskan/Dene Languages Conference

March 31 is the submission deadline for abstracts for the 2011 Athabaskan Languages Conference.

The 27th meeting since 1980, this year’s conference will be held at the High Country Inn in Whitehorse, Yukon.

According to the Ethnologue, the Na-Dene language family includes 46 languages and the conference map shows the Athabaskan/Dene family covers a vast territory in Northwest Canada as well as Alaska, the West Coast and the south-central area of the US.
