David Bradley Workshop in the Macau Daily

Today, the Macau Daily Times has a story on David Bradley, professor at La Trobe University.

Among the interesting achievements mentioned are his creations of writing systems for Bisu (bzi) and Gong, also known as Ugong (ugo).

One of the questions the article raises is the future viability of Cantonese (yue) given the large number of people switching to Mandarin. (See also “Cantonese endangered?” on this blog.)
